How to track internships and new-grad jobs from companies that sponsor H-1B visas
Most early-career jobs are posted first on company career pages run by Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. International students also need to know whether an employer has sponsored H-1B workers before. This guide combines both.
Steps
- Open the Internship & New Grad Jobs Feed on Apify.
- Pick the job types you want: internship, co-op, new grad or entry level.
- Set locations (for example US and remote) and a sponsor filter if you only want employers with H-1B history.
- Run it and sort the results by the employer's H-1B filing count.
- Schedule it daily with incremental mode so you only see new postings.
Example input
{
"earlyCareerTypes": [
"internship"
],
"locations": [
"US",
"remote"
],
"sponsorFilter": "any",
"maxJobsPerCompany": 3,
"maxItems": 40
}
Paste this into the Actor's JSON input on Apify, or pass it to the API with the apify-client library.
Tips
- H-1B counts are past filings from U.S. Department of Labor data, not a promise of sponsorship for a given role.
- Read the posting's own visa statement, which the Actor extracts when present.
- Apply early: many internship postings close within weeks.
Limits
Only covers employers using supported public ATS job boards. Sponsorship data is historical (FY2025 DOL LCA data).
